Windows smash: man charged with Rhyl criminal damage

A man has been charged with smashing the windows of eight shops and restaurants in Rhyl town centre.

Police arrested the 27 year-old during the early hours of Monday, shortly after the attack on the High Street. The shops affected were Age Cymru, Costa, Greggs, McDonalds, Poundland, the Piazza Cafe, the Queen’s Restaurant and Subway.

The suspect has been charged with eight counts of criminal damage. He was released on bail until he appears before magistrates in Llandudno on Monday 18th July.
