Two men accused of an attempted murder in Colwyn Bay over the weekend have been remanded in custody.
Cody Allen and Kyle Rochell are charged with attempting to kill Alex Pattinson (23) in a disturbance on Woodland Road West in the early hours of Saturday. Mr Pattinson is said to be in a stable condition at the Royal Stoke University Hospital after suffering serious injuries.
Both men were also charged with possessing an offensive weapon – Allen (18) is accused of having a dog lead while Rochell (27) is alleged to have carried a kitchen knife.
The suspects did not make any application for bail and spoke only to confirm their names, dates of birth and addresses when they appeared before Llandudno magistrates on Monday morning.
Both men were remanded until they appear before a judge at Caernarfon Crown Court on Tuesday.
