A Denbigh convenience store has been hit by a second robbery in three months.
Detectives are looking for two armed men who held up the Premier Stores on Henllan Street at just after 7.30pm on Monday evening.
One of the men entered the shop with a knife and threatened staff – he left with a laptop computer, a mobile phone and cigarettes. No one was injured.
The other man remained outside before both offenders fled on foot towards the hill approaching Accar-Y-Forwyn.
Last November, two masked men raided the same store before fleeing towards Lenten Pool – a local man was later arrested.
DI Chris Bell from St Asaph CID said: ”The store is located in a busy area of the town and the offence occurred during the evening. We believe there were people in the area at the time. I am appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious either before, during or after this incident.”
Anyone with information should contact St Asaph CID or Denbigh police station on 101, quoting reference no. V010643.
