Three local clubs remain in this season’s FAW Welsh Trophy – and all three have been handed away ties for the fourth round.
Kinmel Bay produced one of the performances of the third round – clawing back from behind to beat Welsh Alliance rivals Denbigh Town 3-1 on Saturday – Kyle Luffman was their hero with two quick goals. Their reward is a visit to another Alliance side, Llanrug United, who needed extra time in their win over Bodedern Athletic.
St Asaph easily saw off Blaenau Ffestiniog 2-0 and now face a trip to Tywyn Bryncrug who beat Rhos Aelwyd 3-2 at the weekend. Another Welsh National League side, Ruthin Town, needed penalties after a 1-1 draw with Llanrwst United to coast through – they’ll go to Berriew, who thumped Venture Community 9-0.
Ties to be played on Saturday 23rd November.
