A Kinmel Bay man accused of killing his partner is set to go on trial in November.
Anthony Bird is charged with the murder of mother-of-two Tracey Kearns at their home in Cader Avenue. Her body was found on Saturday, six days after she was last seen alive.
Appearing via videolink from HMP Altcourse, Bird spoke only to confirm he could see and hear proceedings at Mold Crown Court on Tuesday morning.
Mrs Justice Nicola Davies said no application for bail could be made and Bird would be represented by a QC when the trial opens on Monday 13th November.
Bird, who did not enter a plea, was remanded in custody until a pre-trial hearing on Monday 24th July.
