The family of Tracy Kearns have described her as ”a wonderful mother who adored her children”.

Miss Kearns, a mother of two, was found dead on Saturday, nearly a week after she was last seen alive in Kinmel Bay. Her partner, Anthony Bird (48), has been charged with her murder and is due to stand trial in November.

In a short tribute via police, Miss Kearns’ mother Eileen said: ”We were very close, she was like a sister to me. She had a bubbly personality and was a real good laugh. She will be missed by us all.”

A book of condolence has been opened at Asda in Kinmel Bay, where Miss Kearns worked as a manager until three years ago.

A crowdfunding page, set up to support her two children, is aiming to raise £1500. As of Wednesday evening, it had raised nearly £600.
