Tough Trophy ties for Denbighshire clubs

Four Denbighshire clubs face tricky ties in the third round of this season’s FAW Welsh Trophy.

The pick of the draw – made in Cardiff on Monday afternoon – sees the leaders of Division One visit the leaders of Division Two. Both Denbigh Town and Kinmel Bay boast unbeaten starts to the league campaign – with only Denbigh still claiming a 100 per cent after eight games, though the Bay will have home advantage.

By contrast, Llandyrnog United have undergone a start to life in the First Division with just two wins at home – and they face a trip to strong Welsh National League candidates Mold Alexandra. Closer to home, there’s an Division Two affair for St Asaph as visit Blaenau Ffestiniog and Ruthin Town from the WNL play host to Llanrwst United.

Ties to be played on Saturday 26th October 2013.
