Tobacco haul stolen in Pensarn shop burglary



Detectives are looking for two people who broke into a Co-Op store in Pensarn.

A large haul of cigarettes and tobacco were stolen from the shop on Marine Road at just before midnight on Thursday. The two suspects were wearing dark jackets with a white logo on the rear shoulder, dark trousers and gloves.

Detective Superintendent Rebecca Hughes at St Asaph CID said: ”We are keen to speak to anyone who may have information about the burglary or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area between 11pm and 12.30am. We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered cigarettes at a reduced price.”
