Three men charged with Mochdre stabbing

Three men have been charged with stabbing a man on a Mochdre estate.

Jacko Jones (18) of Old Colwyn, his twin brother Marvin Jones (18) of Mochdre and Leighton Jones (19) of no fixed abode stand accused of wounding Connor Owen with intent at the junction with Ffordd Euryn and Ffordd Y Maer on Monday evening.

Llandudno magistrates heard the brothers denied the charges but were not being asked to enter any pleas when they appeared in court on Wednesday. Jacko Jones is also charged with possessing knife.

No application for bail was made and all three men were remanded in custody – they will appear before a judge at Caernarfon Crown Court on Monday 17th April.

A 47 year-old woman has also been charged with Section 39 common assault and Section 4 public order. She has been released on bail and will appear before Llandudno magistrates on Wednesday 12th April.

Mr Owen was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor following the alleged attack but later discharged with only minor injuries.
