Three men have been arrested after a series of drugs raids on the Denbighshire coast this morning.

Neighbourhood and tasking officers searched three properties in Prestatyn and another in Rhyl – the men, aged 44, 29 and 28, are now being questioned on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs. Several property items were also seized during one of the raids.

Sergeant Kalum Davies, a NPT officer for the Denbighshire coast and Abergele areas, said: ”Illegal drugs is clearly a cause of concern amongst members of the local community and we would like to reassure residents that we will act on information and take positive action.”

Anyone with information about illegal drug activity should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Alternatively, contact officers at the police control room in St Asaph via the live web chat.
