As part of the ongoing improvement works to Rhyl Leisure Centre (as part of the Rhyl 21st Century School Project) some changes are required to the access to enable the existing access road and car park to be upgraded.

From the 5th June the existing  main entrance road to the leisure centre in Rhyl will be closed to all traffic and access will be diverted to a temporary road which is being created next to the Vets practice a little further along Grange Road.

This diversion will be in place for approximately 4 weeks whilst the current access is being re-surfaced. Pedestrian access to the leisure centre will continue to be along the existing pavement on the existing access road and will be clearly signed.

At the same time work will begin on the memorial garden wall where a damaged pillar will be repaired for safety reasons.

The Council would like to thank people  for their patience during these works and ask that due care and attention is taken when visiting the site.

The Council will also keep users informed via information in the leisure centre and as ever will keep disruption to a minimum.
