A Rhyl man has admitted kidnapping and raping a woman on Pensarn beach during the August Bank Holiday.
Jack Karl Thomas Williams pleaded guilty to the attack on a 62 year-old as she was walking her dog. The 18 year-old from Mount Road admitted a total of six charges – including holding the woman against her will and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
At an earlier hearing, Williams’ defence said he had denied all the charges but entered guilty pleas at Mold Crown Court on Monday morning.
Judge Rhys Rowlands said he would order a report to consider the ‘future risk’ posed by the defendant before sentencing takes place. Williams was remanded in custody until Thursday 10th November.
