A teenage boy has been arrested after a pupil was threatened at Rhyl High School, sparking a lockdown.
The school was cordoned off by police at around 3pm on Friday amid reports of an isolated incident. It was reopened by 3.40pm and students were allowed to go home.
The 15 year-old suspect was arrested at around 4pm in Llandudno – Denbighshire County Council said he was not connected to the school.
Police said there was no danger to the public and no one was injured, but have not released any further details.
