Stolen car crashes into Abergele house


Police are looking for two men after a car stolen during a weekend burglary crashed in Abergele.

The silver Toyota Carolla was taken during a break-in at a house on Roumania Drive in Llandudno at some point between 6.30pm last Saturday evening and 11.30am on Sunday morning. Clothing and a laptop were also stolen from the property.

Then at 10.30pm on Tuesday night, the car crashed into another house on Llanddulas Road in Abergele. A search was carried out after the two men ran into the nearby Tesco car park but proved unsuccessful. The house suffered damaged but no one was injured.

St Asaph burglary officers are appealing for witnesses to both the Llandudno break-in and the abandoned car in Abergele to come forward.
