A Rhyl man will go on trial next month after he denied causing affray at a former Rhyl nightspot.

Zach Leuty admitted carrying a hammer into the Bar Bow, but pleaded not guilty to causing a mid-morning incident at the Water Street venue last April.

The 27 year-old from Russell Road was granted unconditional bail by Llandudno magistrates on Monday. He will appear before a judge at Mold Crown Court on Friday 2nd September.

Bar Bow closed on Saturday night, following a decision last month to revoke its licence to serve alcohol.
