A by-election has been called to find a new Rhyl town councillor for the Plastirion ward.
It follows the resignation of Labour incumbent James May after just over three years in office – he also served as consort to former town mayor Andy Rutherford.
Candidates are being sought for the poll, due to be held on Thursday 17th March at the community rooms in Maes Emlyn. Nomination papers should be sent to the returning officer by 4pm on Friday 19th February.
