BBC Voice UK – The Northernettes

Their website describes them as a “Lipstick fuelled, sky-high-heeled beat brunettes” or simply “The Northernettes”.

The Northernettes are made up of 3 former BBC One’s Voice UK contestant, Georgia and Sophie May and most notably Rhyl’s very own Katie Benbow who was mentored by singer Jessie J during series 2 back in 2013.

The trios love of all things vintage, styles and sounds of the 50s and 60s has brought them together while giving everything a 21st century twist.

They have been working hard in the studio and on Friday 22nd January released their debut single called “Let’s Go” complete with 60s style music video by Layla Sailor.
