A fourth man charged in connection with an alleged attack plot in Rhyl has appeared in court.

Kyle Evitt is accused of possessing a handgun and conspiring with three other men to cause grievous bodily harm against Damian Wilding. The 29 year-old was due to appear before Llandudno magistrates on Friday but was taken to hospital instead after reportedly falling ill.

Evitt is also charged with conspiring to supply herbal cannabis between 6th March and 26th April. He did not apply for bail and was remanded in custody on Saturday.

He will appear at Mold Crown Court along with Paul Lewis (39) of Kinmel Bay and Jake Kiernan (24) and Perry Lee Jones (22) of Rhyl on Friday 26th May.

At Friday’s hearing, the three other men indicated they would enter not guilty pleas.
