Private Developer Interest In Rhyl Promenade

It has been reported today that a number of developers are interested in regenerating Rhyl’s coastline facilities.

Denbighshire County Council are looking for private funding to help redevelop along the Rhyl promenade and is willing to consider proposals involving any of its land or property in the resort, such as the iconic Sun Centre water park which closed in early 2014 along with Prestatyn’s Nova Centre and the North Wales Bowls Centre after funding ran out.

The council set a deadline for Friday 8th August for interested companies to come forward with ideas to help develop any of the  facilities along the promenade from West End of Rhyl at Marine Lake all the way along the coast to Splash Point.
