Denbigh Town Clerk

Dr James Davies MP recently met Jenny Taylor, Town Clerk of Denbigh, to discuss future priorities for Denbigh and to ensure collaborative working at all levels of Government.

One of Dr Davies’ first meetings after being elected in 2015 was with Mrs Taylor’s predecessor, Medwyn Jones, and he is keen to continue a good working relationship with the local authority following Mr Jones’ retirement.

Dr James Davies MP has been liaising with a number of key stakeholders in Denbigh, including; developers such as Liberty Properties who are delivering the former Station Yard development; Denbigh Business Group in relation to the town centre, car parking charges and future regeneration efforts; Denbighshire County Council officers to push A55 brown signage and other issues; community groups; schools; residents affected by the proposed Brookhouse housing development; and the North Wales Building Preservation Trust to move the former North Wales Hospital site forward.
