Prestatyn Sight Day – Vision Support

On Tuesday 31st January, Craig K was joined in the studio by Prestatyn Mayor, Bob Murray, Janette Williams from Vision Support and Hemingway the dog to talk about “Prestatyn Sight Day” which took place on Tuesday 7th February 2017, a Vision Support and Prestatyn Town Council Event.

The event was from 9;30am until 12 noon with coffee morning and exhibition stands at Nant Hall Road Church and Parish Church Hall, including exhibitions from Optelec Ltd, Calibre Audio Library, Guide Dog Cymru and many more. The day coincided with the opening of the new Vision Support Centre on the Prestatyn High Street.

The event, opened by Mayor of Prestatyn and Meliden, Bob Murray who also took part in a blind walk on the High Street will further benefit from the Prestatyn Mayor’s Charity Gala to be held later this month, further details to follow.
