A Prestatyn man accused of attacking two men in the town’s High Street has been remanded in custody.

Jordan Cretney appeared in court this morning on four charges of wounding with intent, committing assault occasioning actual bodily harm, resisting arrest and possessing cannabis.

The 22 year-old from Canterbury Drive did not enter a plea or apply for bail during the ten-minute hearing at Llandudno magistrates. He will appear before a judge at Mold Crown Court on Friday 10th July.

Last night, police said one of the men attacked near the Tesco petrol station early on Sunday morning remained ‘extremely poorly’ – he remains in a specialist unit in Stoke with serious head injuries. The other victim escaped with only minor injuries.

Detectives are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
