Today (22nd October 2013) at 2pm, a brand new landmark for the North Wales Coast finally opened. Pont Y Ddraig, Rhyl’s new cycle bridge created the final link in the 15 miles of cycling route through Conwy and Denbighshire
The official opening of the bridge was done by Paralympic Champion at London 2012, Mark Colbourne MBE and Ysgol Maes Owen student Leon Jones, who won the opportunity to name the bridge Pont y Ddraig back in June.
