Police search for A547 Meliden flasher

A young man seen exposing himself to female motorists on the A547 is wanted by police.

The man is believed to have been seen flashing woman drivers on the Rhuddlan to Meliden road twice last week – the first incident occurred at around 5.40pm last Wednesday (6th May) and the second at around 9.45am on Saturday morning.

In the latter case, he exposed himself to a driver who he had gained eye contact with. Officers are linking both incidents.

The suspect is said to be white, clean shaven and of average build, aged between 16 and 20 years old and around 5’ft 6′ to 5’ft 8′ tall. Last Saturday, he was wearing rimmed glasses, a hooded top and grey jogging bottoms.

PC Lynne Dunkley at Rhyl Police Station, said: “I’m keen to speak to anyone who was travelling along that particular section of the road at around the time of the incidents on May 6th and 9thto please get in touch. Similarly, I’d like to hear from anyone may recognise the individual from the description released or has information which may assist us to please get in touch.”
