A brochure has been released by ESH (Edward Simpson Howard) for a planned extension to Rhyl’s Clwyd Retail Park based on Rhuddlan Road.
The site which is home to retail chains such as B&Q, Currys, Carpet Right, Halford and supermarket Sainbury’s, will see an extension of 30,000 square feet of extended retail space subject to planning. A new 8,000 sq feet unit subject to planning could be built adjacent to Carpet Right and 1000-2000 sq feet retail space could be built on the car park.
According to the brochure 20,000 sq feet on retail space is under offer to German supermarket LIDL which could be built on land at the back of Pet At Home and a 102 car parking spaces behind B&Q.

It’s unknown when or if the changes to the retail park will be made or which retailers would be moving to the park but it is believed that Scottish company Ediston Real Estate will be behind the development into park released in a press release in February 2015.
