National Eisteddfod’s future – task force rejects permanent site

A group looking into the future of the National Eisteddfod, which was held in Denbigh this year, has rejected suggestions that the festival should move to a permanent site.

The 12-member Task & Finish committee has recommended more co-operation with other festivals and appointing a new artistic director as part of its report to the Welsh Government published on Thursday. Its chairman, Roy Noble, told Point FM in August that a switch to hosting the Eisteddfod on one site was very unlikely.

What did you make of the Brifwyl when it came to Denbigh? And do you agree it should carry on travelling between North and South Wales?
