Construction units have arrived at the site of Rhyl’s Marina Quay project ahead of resuming next week.
The £23 million development at the former Ocean Beach funfair has been delayed while talks were held with Denbighshire County Council to settle issues about surrounding roads.
Preparation work at the site began in January, shortly before the first phase of the project was given planning permission. Marina Quay will house at least three retailers – The Range, Farmfoods and Poundworld.
The Scarborough Group say they are also close to securing two further deals for the complex, which will include two retail blocks and a hotel.
Construction work will resume on Monday.
