Man stabbed outside West Rhyl takeaway

A man is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed in the leg outside a takeaway in West Rhyl.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Ocean City on Wellington Road at just after 9.20pm last night – the takeaway was cordoned off but no one was arrested.

The victim was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan, but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Detectives have been carrying out house-to-house enquiries around the area since the stabbing. St Asaph CID are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to call 101 (quoting reference no. U015941).
