A court has heard how police officers struggled to arrest a man following a house party in Rhyl.
Stefan Revatto from Gronant claimed he had been assaulted at the property on Prince Edward Avenue early on Friday 10th June.
When officers were called out at 6.30am, they suspected he had been involved and tried to arrest the 24 year-old, who shouted in response ”Get the f*** off me, I’ve done nothing wrong”. After trying to escape, he refused to stand up and was sprayed with incapacitant as he was led to a police car.
It later emerged that Revatto had breached a criminal behaviour order imposed after a similar incident last July. He admitted using threatening behaviour and breaching the order.
Prestatyn magistrates ordered him to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and take part in 20 days of activities as part of a year-long community order. He must also pay a total of £170, including £85 in court costs.
