Man denies Mold attempted murder

A Liverpool man is set to go on trial in the summer accused of attempted murder.

Michael Cullen from Huyton pleaded not guilty to allegedly attacking Christopher Hall (40) at Nant Garmon in Mold in January. The 31 year-old from Huyton appeared at the town’s crown court via videolink on Friday.

A second man has been charged with wounding with intent and is due to appear before Flintshire magistrates. Mr Hall suffered serious injuries in the attack.

Judge Rhys Rowlands told the court he intended to tie the two cases together with the trial taking place in July. Cullen was remanded in custody.
