A man has been charged after a stabbing near the Rhyl seafront.
A 25 year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after disorder broke out on Water Street at around 3am on Friday 2nd June.
Detectives said a 27 year-old local man was charged with knife crime offences, but they are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen what happened. The stabbing occurred before stop-and-search powers were introduced in a weekend crackdown on knife crime in Rhyl.
DC Natalie Lewis from St Asaph CID said: ”There were a lot of people milling around and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed an incident on Water Street near to where it joins the promenade.”
