A Meliden man has been charged following an assault outside a flat on Rhyl High Street.
Damian Wilding appeared before magistrates in Wrexham on Wednesday morning, accused of aggravated burglary following the incident on Monday.
A local man in his twenties was left with serious but not life threatening injuries after he was attacked by a group of men. It’s thought to be linked to a planned operation by armed police that night, when four men were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit murder.
Wilding (31) was remanded in custody – he will appear before a judge at Mold Crown Court on Friday 26th May.
