Police are questioning a 22 year-old man after a domestic assault in Prestatyn town centre.
A woman needed hospital treatment following the attack at the junction between High Street and an alleyway next to NatWest and Ginger’s Grills at around 10.30pm on Thursday night.
The 22 year-old victim has since been released from Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan. The man arrested on suspicion of assault is being held at St Asaph police station.
Detective Superintendent Dave Mills said: ”We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who may have witnessed the assault.”
