Man arrested after Kinmel Bay attempted robbery



A man has been arrested after an attempted armed raid at a Kinmel Bay convenience store.

It’s believed up to three men held up the Apex Spar shop on Foryd Road at around 10.20pm on Thursday night – nothing was taken and no one was injured. Police carried out a lengthy search of the area involving the force helicopter and the dog unit.

Detectives are still appealing for witnesses to come forward. Chief Inspector Phil Jones said: ”We would like to thank the public for their understanding in relation to any inconvenience caused during the search.”
