Detectives are looking for two masked men who broke into a house in Kinmel Bay.

The men tried to steal from the property on Llugwy Road at around 11.40pm on Tuesday 12th August but fled empty handed – they were found by the occupant of the house who had been awakened by the noise.

Detective Constable Andy Pendleton said: “Both males were wearing masks and one of them is described as being of stocky build, between 5ft 8’ to 6ft tall and is believed to have spoken with a Liverpool accent.”

House to house inquiries have taken place in the area and anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or with information about the botched burglary should contact St Asaph CID on 101 (ref. R126130) or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
