Denbighshire County Council is inviting people to kick start their Christmas celebrations with its annual carol service.

The service will take place at St. Mary’s Parish Church in Rhuddlan on Tuesday, 6th December at 7.00pm and will include festive readings and musical performances.

Musical items will include performances from the Denbighshire Brass Band , harpist Angharad Huw,  the Denbighshire Youth  Choir and soloists Tesni Jones and Ynyr Rogers.

A collection will be made on the evening towards St. Kentigern Hospice and Ty Gobaith, the Chairman’s chosen charities for this year.

Councillor Ann Davies, Chairman of Denbighshire County Council, said: “We are looking forward to starting the Christmas celebrations at our annual carol service.

“The service provides an opportunity and platform for some of our talented children and young people from our schools to share some of the wealth of talent that exists in Denbighshire. There will also be some festive readings from colleagues within the Council”.
