Motorists are being informed that the A548 Foryd Bridge, Rhyl will be closed on Sunday 18th June between midnight and 5am (between the last and the first buses of the day), to allow a detailed inspection / survey of the bridge’s beams to take place.
Denbighshire County Council’s engineers will use the road closure period to inspect the rest of the bridge.
A diversion route will be in place to re-direct traffic via Rhuddlan and Kinmel Bay – the road closure has been scheduled for the early hours of the morning to minimise the inconvenience for motorists.
The Council would like to thank motorists in advance for their co-operation and apologies for any inconvenience caused.
