Flint’s Jade Jones scoop 2nd Wales Sports Personality Award



North Wales’ Olympic taekwondo star Jade Jones has won her 2nd BBC Wales Sport Personality Award, beating Real Madrid and Wales football Gareth Bales to the prize.

Jade from Flint, North Wales won the award for the first time back in 2012 after winning her first gold in the London Olympics said “It’s amazing to win in it”.  The award was voted for by the Welsh public, 2016 Rio gold medal cyclist Elinor Barker took 3rd place at the award ceremony.
