Five men have been charged with drug trafficking following raids in Conwy county.

Three men from Liverpool and two from Glan Conwy and Dwygyfylchi were among eight people arrested in a two-day operation led by Dyfed Powys Police earlier this week.

National Crime Agency and North Wales Police officers were also involved in the raids – five of the arrests were in Llandudno Junction.

The men appeared before magistrates in Aberystwyth on Thursday. Ryan Kenny (29) of Norris Green, John Kenny (34) of Liverpool and Max Hampson (25) of Dwygyfylchi are all accused of conspiring to supply heroin, cocaine and controlled class B drugs

Jody Moore (19) of Glan Conwy and Christopher Inglesby (30) of Walton are charged with conspiring to supply heroin and cocaine. All five men were remanded in custody and will go on trial at Swansea Crown Court on Monday 10th June.

Police say their investigation is continuing.
