A Rhyl workshop left gutted by a fatal fire is set to be demolished.

Lightworks on Vale Road was left badly damaged in the fire just before Christmas 2015, which killed the owner of the shop, Barrie Newton. Last July, an inquest returned a verdict of accidental death.

Denbighshire County Council say they are planning to demolish the remains of the single storey building and build a new retail unit identical to the original shop.
