After months of anticipation the final section of Rhyl’s brand new bridge, named ‘Pont Y Ddraig’ meaning Dragon’s Bridge, goes into place.
Work on the lightweight bridge is part of a £9.9m development of the harbour, which will include a public square and a quay side building. The bridge will be the final link in 15 miles of cycling route through Conwy and Denbighshire.

Visitors once across the new bridge, will eventually be in the center of the new Ocean Plaza development.
The bridge at night will come alive with a lighting scheme, making it a stand out feature as visitors and residents enter the town. The design of the bridge will allow boats to pass through into the harbour, by both sections elevating.
