A new discount fashion store is on its way to Rhyl.
Pep & Co will take over part of the town’s Poundland shop as part of plans to open ten ‘shop-in-shops’ across the UK. Five jobs are set to be created when the chain opens on the High Street next February.
Fifty Pep & Co stores were opened within fifty days during the summer of 2015 – the chain, which offers kids’, mens’ and womens’ cothing was brought out by South African firm Steinhoff last September.
Managing director Adrian Mountford said: ”What will be great for customers in Rhyl is they’ll get the convenience of all of their Poundland favourites alongside clothing. They’ll get the same amazing value on fashion that they already see in Poundland.”
Rhyl’s Poundland store opened in June 2013 at the site of the former Marks & Spencer, which moved to Parc Prestatyn along with another major High Street brand, Next.
