Electrical goods stolen in Rhyl burglary

Detectives are looking for burglars who stole hundreds of pounds worth of electrical goods from a house in the east end of Rhyl

Police say a Panasonic Blu-Ray recorder, a black Canon digital SLR camera and a Sky box were among several items taken from a property on Hardy Avenue on Wednesday lunchtime. It’s believed the thieves forced open a side gate and forced their way into the house at around 12.30pm.

St Asaph CID officers have held house to house inquiries in the area. Detective Constable Andy Pendleton said: ”I’m keen to hear anyone who was in the vicinity of Hardy Avenue early on Wednesday afternoon or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously to get in touch with me or my colleagues…”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 (reference no. R117621) or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
