Voters across the North Wales Coast are heading to the polls today in the UK general election.
In the Point FM area, thousands of people will be electing two MPs to serve the constituencies of the Vale of Clwyd and Clwyd West. The polls remain open until 10pm with counting taking place overnight.
There are four candidates standing in the Vale of Clwyd, where there are a total of 38 polling stations, mainly in the key centres of Rhyl, Prestatyn, St Asaph and Denbigh.
Four candidates are also fighting for the Clwyd West seat, which serves the Abergele, Towyn and Kinmel Bay areas – there are 62 polling stations across the constituency.
The result for the Vale of Clwyd is likely to be declared at around 2.30am on Friday morning, followed by Clwyd West at around 3am. Counting will take place at Denbigh Leisure Centre and Venue Cymru in Llandudno respectively.
