Police in Rhyl say they are not treating the deaths of an elderly couple as suspicious.
The body of a 65 year-old man was found at a house on Eastville Avenue at around 12.07pm on Friday lunchtime. Officers had been called out to the property amid concerns for the welfare of his wife, aged 72. She was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan but died on Saturday night.
A police cordon and emergency services surrounded the house during Saturday, according to press reports. A post mortem examination has taken place along with local house-to-house enquiries – the coroner for North East Wales has been informed and is due to open an inquest.
