Two hours packed with exploration and games on and about the Denbighshire coast.
This is where we want you to leave a footprint…..but only in sand. Why not join in and find out more about what signs of creatures hide in the seaweed, or find out more about who’s messing about in the water with you. Denbighshire Countryside service is teaming up with the North Wales Wildlife Trust’s Nia Jones (fresh from Deep Sea surveying in the Caribbean). They will be heading down to Rhyl beach on the 7th August to enjoy a couple of hours of seaside games and wildlife watching.
“Always entertaining and informative; this one’s a popular yearly event that thrills, whatever age.”
Those wanting to join in should book by phoning (01352) 810614. Make sure all children are accompanied by an adult (who wants to join in and learn together – it’s more fun that way) but no dogs, as they won’t enjoy it. Meet on the beach opposite the Lifeboat station at 10am. For more information see www.clwydianrangeanddeevalleyaonb.org.uk
