A man and a woman have been charged in connection with the murder of David Kingsbury in Old Colwyn.

Stephen Cody (53) and Susannah Buckley (40) are among four people accused of assisting an offender after the body of Mr Kingsbury was found in the Bryn Heulog area last month following a disturbance. The 35 year-old labourer died from a single stab wound.

Cody will appear before Caernarfon magistrates on Friday morning and Buckley will appear at Llandudno Magistrates Court on Monday 20th February.

Dean Cody (30) of no fixed abode was charged with Mr Kingsbury’s murder and is due to enter a plea at Mold Crown Court next month – a trial is due to take place in June. Two other men, Colin Lyness (30) of Old Colwyn and Thomas Revatto (50) of Colwyn Bay, have also been charged with assisting an offender.

Detectives are still appealing for anyone with information to contact Colwyn Bay police station on 101, quoting reference no. V002232, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
