David Kingsbury murder: three men in court

A man charged with the murder of David Kingsbury in Old Colwyn has been remanded in custody.

Dean Cody was charged on Wednesday night after three days of questioning by detectives. Two other men, Colin Lyness and Thomas Revatto are accused of assisting an offender.

Mr Kingsbury’s body was found in the Bryn Heulog area following a disturbance last Thursday evening – a post-mortem examination revealed he had died from a single stab wound.

Cody (30), of no fixed abode, spoke only to confirm his name and details, along with Lyness (30) of Llanelian Road in Old Colwyn and Revatto (50) of Rhiw Road in Colwyn Bay.

The men did not apply for bail and were remanded in custody. They will appear before a judge at Mold Crown Court tomorrow.

A 38 year-old woman remains on police bail pending further inquiries after being questioned last weekend.
