David Kingsbury murder: CCTV appeal for potential witnesses

Detectives are looking for three people who may have been potential witnesses to the murder of David Kingsbury in Old Colwyn.

The two men and a woman were captured on CCTV at the Aldi supermarket on Abergele Road around the time of a disutrbance on Thursday 5th January. Police believe the three people may hold vital information.

The body of Mr Kingsbury, a 35 year-old unemployed labourer, was found on nearby Wellington Road in the Bryn Heulog area and pronounced dead at the scene from a single stab wound.

One man, Dean Cody (30) of no fixed abode, has already been charged with his murder and will enter a plea at Mold Crown Court on Friday 3rd March. Four local people stand accused of assisting an offender – Colin Lyness (30), Thomas Revatto (50) and Stephen Cody (53) remain in custody on remand and will appear before a judge at Mold on Monday 6th March.

Susannah Buckley (40) will appear before Llandudno magistrates to face similar charges on Monday 20th February.

Anyone with information about the three people in the CCTV pictures should call police on 101.
