The draw has been made for the first and second rounds of this season’s North Wales Coast Challenge Cup.

Only nine teams have been entered into this year’s tournament with holders Prestatyn Town given a bye into the quarter finals, where they face a trip to Nantporth for another clash with old rivals Bangor City.

The Seasiders beat Rhyl to the silverware on penalties in a dramatic derby back in August. The Lillywhites will also start in the last eight with an interesting home tie against Welsh Alliance outfit Kinmel Bay, who currently lie top of Division Two.

The sole first round tie sees Colwyn Bay take on Amlwch Town – the winners of that will go onto host Llandudno while in the other quarter final, Caernarfon Town entertain Glan Conwy. The dates for the ties are yet to be arranged.
